Short version
FrameTales processes your photos and projects on your device. It does not require an account, operate a content server, sell personal information, show advertising, or track you across apps and websites.
Information handled on your device
When you choose to import or capture an image, FrameTales may read the image pixels and embedded metadata needed for the features you request. This can include camera and lens details, capture date, image dimensions and format, and GPS coordinates. Your projects may also contain your manual text, design recipes, logos, signatures, device profiles, brand kits, export presets, and export history.
These items are stored in the app’s local container. FrameTales accesses the Photos library, camera, or selected files only after your action and the applicable system permission.
Exports and sharing
You decide whether an export preserves supported metadata, keeps only copyright information, or removes metadata. GPS inclusion is a separate setting and is off by default. If you save to Photos, Files, or use the system share sheet, Apple and the destination app or service process that output under their own policies.
On-device analytics
Optional anonymous analytics are off by default. If enabled, FrameTales stores only aggregate event-name counters on your device. It does not store event parameters, photographs, EXIF data, file names, project names, account identifiers, advertising identifiers, or location in those counters, and it does not upload them. Resetting FrameTales defaults removes these local counters.
Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. FrameTales receives product and entitlement status needed to unlock features, but it does not receive your full payment-card information. Apple’s handling of purchase data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Required system APIs
FrameTales uses UserDefaults to retain preferences and checks disk space before storage-intensive operations. These uses are declared in the app’s privacy manifest. The current release declares no collected data types and no tracking.
Retention and deletion
Projects remain on your device until you delete them. Deleted projects may remain in FrameTales’s Recently Deleted area until you permanently remove them. You can delete projects, clear cache data, reset product preferences, or delete the app to remove its local container. Copies that you exported are controlled from their destination.
Children
FrameTales is a general-audience creative tool and is not directed to children for the purpose of collecting personal information. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If FrameTales’s data practices change, this page and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the new practice is introduced where required.
